Abstract

A brief review of the evolution of weather modification has been  traced with main emphasis on hail suppression and rain increase as  progressed by our group. Hail suppression techniques employed in  Alberta have been discussed and the present status of our own  capabilities for carrying out commercial operations are reviewed.  Specific benefit to cost ratios for hail suppression and rain increase are included.
